Welcome to Stargazer #202, your ultimate oceanfront escape in the heart of Surf City! This 5-bedroom, 5-bathroom Landmark Vacation Rentals home sleeps up to 11 guests and delivers the perfect mix of coastal elegance, modern comfort, and unbeatable convenience. Located in the heart of Surf city, beside the iconic Surf City Pier, you’ll have front-row access to some of the best dining, shopping, and local entertainment the island has to offer — all within easy walking distance.

Wake up to breathtaking ocean views and step right onto the sand with your private beach access just outside your door. Spend your days basking in the sunshine or lounging on the spacious oceanfront deck, complete with ample seating for the whole crew — an entertainer’s dream for morning coffee, sunset cocktails, or stargazing under the Carolina night sky.

When it’s time to unwind, head to the large backyard oasis, where you can kick back by the firepit, sway in the hammock, or gather around with family and friends in the abundant outdoor seating. With so much space to relax and reconnect, Stargazer is designed for making memories that last a lifetime. The outdoor space also includes a gas grill, fish cleaning station, and an outdoor shower as well.

Inside, this home impresses with its bright, open layout, hardwood floors throughout, and a fully equipped kitchen perfect for preparing fresh seafood feasts. The cozy living room is the perfect spot for movie marathons or family game nights, complete with a great selection of board games for everyone to enjoy. There are two separate entrances, one for the upstairs of this home, which includes the main living area, kitchen, and three bedrooms.

There is an additional twin bed in the loft area that looks over the living room

Bedroom 5 – Queen
The king and queen bedroom downstairs share one hall bathroom.

The ground floor sleeping area has a separate entrance and cannot be accessed from the main part of the house. Guest must exit the house, walk down the outdoor steps, and walk under the carport to get to the ground floor.

Whether you’re chasing adventure, ocean breezes, or simply pure relaxation, Stargazer #202 puts you right where you want to be — steps from the pier, surrounded by beauty, and overlooking the endless Atlantic horizon.

Included: Outdoor shower, WiFi, and and Smart TVs throughout. A linen package is included with your stay (this includes bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, bath mats, and kitchen towels). All beds will be made prior to arrival. This home is NOT pet-friendly.

There is a propane grill located in the carport. Landmark is not responsible for the upkeep of the grill and guests are responsible for cleaning the grill at the end of their stay and providing their own propane.

To make settling in easy, a first-night amenity bag is provided with a starter supply of essentials, including one roll of paper towels, four rolls of toilet paper, a small bottle of dish soap, a single-use dishwasher pod, laundry detergent, and a few trash bags. Please note that these items are provided as a starter supply and are not replenished during your stay.

There is a keyless entry lock on the main entrance door. Each guest group receives a personal access code valid for the duration of their stay, so there’s no need to worry about keys or stopping by an office to check in or out. This home is designed for a safe, stress-free, and contactless experience, allowing you to start relaxing the moment you arrive. A professional cleaning service is provided at the end of your stay.

You cannot beat the location or the size of Stargazer for your family vacation. We had a party of 11 consisting of 4 generations. Bedrooms were a nice size and the beds were comfortable. The number of bathrooms was so helpful. The deck is amazing providing sun and shade. I would absolutely recommend. Text communication of reminders from management was good and helpful.
Takeaways: Living room furniture could use updating. (cushions were stained). Keyless entry would be helpful with having the 2 living spaces and needing the physical keys. Deck furniture was very dirty but there was a good amount. House had a slight damp/musty smell but you are at the ocean.

We have stayed in this house 3 years in a row and stayed it the houses on the left and right for several years prior to that. The best location in Surf City we beleive. We bought a house so we will be about a mile down the beach. The Deck overlooking the peir and beach has been our favorite part. You could park you care for a week and walk to everything you need.

We were very happy with the house. Pictures were spot on. Great location if you like to people watch, have the beach in your backyard, and have the ability to walk to a variety of restaurants and shops. Landmark was great to work with. Answered questions in a timely manner. We had an issue with some ants and they had a person there the following day to fix it.
