Description

Nestled in the heart of North Topsail Beach, Just Shellaxin' #167, a Landmark Vacation Rentals home, offers the ultimate vacation experience with ocean views and a myriad of amenities designed for relaxation and fun. This charming second-row beach house features 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, making it the ideal retreat for families and friends. Dive into relaxation with your own private pool or unwind in the hot tub after a day of beach adventures. This home is dog-friendly ensuring every member of the family can enjoy the beach getaway. An additional non-refundable fee of $250 per dog applies, with a maximum of two dogs allowed.

The first floor consists of three bedrooms and one bathroom. Two of the bedrooms have queen-sized beds, both with private deck access, and the third bedroom has two, twin over twin bunk beds. Proceed to the second floor to find the living room, dining area, kitchen, laundry room, and a half bathroom. The open floor plan allows for the perfect space to entertain family and friends. The living, dining, and kitchen areas are filled with natural light and showcase unparalleled ocean views from the wall of windows. Guests can access an expansive deck from the living room which has plenty of seating to enjoy the view. The dining table has seating for six. There is additional seating for three at the kitchen island. Proceed upstairs to the third floor to find the master suite. The master boasts a king-sized bed, an ensuite bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower, his and hers sinks, and two private balconies, one on either side to enjoy both ocean and sound views.

Make the most of your beach vacation with provided kayaks and an array of beach gear. Explore the serene waters or enjoy a day of sunbathing and sandcastle building. The elevator that accesses all floors is a great asset for those guests with mobility issues or to help bring in your luggage and groceries.

There is a keyless entry lock on the ground floor entrance. Guest groups are assigned a personal entrance code for the duration of their stay. Everything in this home was made to provide a safe, contactless process where you can relax from the moment you arrive. Professional cleaning service is provided at the end of your stay.

The private pool can be heated for an additional fee in April, May, September, and October. The heated pool option is unavailable from June - August and November - March. Please note, that the pool heater will only heat 10 degrees warmer than the outside temperature (forecasted low). Please call our office to add the heated pool fee to your reservation.

Provided With Your Stay: Bath Towels, Hand Towels and Washcloths, Bath Mats, and Kitchen Linens are provided. Beds will be made upon your arrival. Please note all top bunks will not be made. A First Night Amenity Kit which includes: Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, Trash Bags and More will be waiting for you!

I have stayed in 20+ houses over the years. This house was definitely top 3 for me. I enjoyed almost everything about it! We did not use the elevator at all because there were lots of instructions and it says if you get stuck it’s $75 to come unstick. We didn’t want to take that chance. So, that said, there are a LOT of stairs. 4 floors. We have a dog with super short legs so we did end up carrying her a lot. Otherwise we enjoyed everything else! All of the furniture is comfortable and up to date. I loved how they decorated. Even the kitchen table being wood was still comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub a lot. I did not realize that the pool would be SO cold on the last week of August but it really was too cold for us to enjoy. We barely got in. The decks are nice- no wood so no splinters. Lots of outdoor chairs. No broken furniture. The AC works well on all floors. I enjoyed the kitchen a lot mostly because all of their equipment was very clean and newish. I am used to so many kitchen items needing to be cleaned in order to be used. It is missing a can opener but otherwise had everything we needed. Most of all, the beach access is very close. We walked it daily with our dog. 10/10

Brought our adult children and spouses for the week. Nice location. Home was well maintained and wonderfully equipped. Pool and hot tub were clean and a great way to start or end your beach day. Kitchen was very well equipped. Wish there was seating at the table for everyone or at least a chair of the same height that could be used. Other suggestion would be a grill by the pool area as well as more outdoor seating. I would absolutely rent this house again. The construction noise from across the street was only audible on one day and it wasn’t too bad. The community and boardwalk was safe, clean and well maintained.

We had a wonderful stay at Just Shellaxin! We needed to contact Landmark Management a couple of times during our trip and they were extremely prompt and attentive. The house is beautiful and was impeccably clean. It had all of the supplies we needed to cook nearly every meal at home (we hardly ever went out for food). Appliances are all in working order, the pots and pans were so great I think maybe they were brand new! The wifi is speedy with four adults and two teenagers on devices and streaming TV at night, there were no problems. We'd recommend Landmark and this house specifically to anyone!

Only complaint was I sent a text that the fridge was not getting cold. Reply was "it takes 24-hours to return to its optimal temp. Text 9:30am Monday again. they stated "they put a request in". didn't hear from them on Tuesday and text them again. Replied " they would be there between 4-7. Came Tuesday and fixed. Had to thaw out motor and system running to Fridge. Three days of warm food and drinks.

This was our third year at this property. It is perfect! It’s close enough to walk to the beach and has a private pool. The master suite is upstairs on the third floor so the grandparents stayed up on the third floor while the rest of us were on the first floor and less likely to disturb the grandparents. The neighborhood is quiet and well kept. It is a drive from most of the restaurants on the island but we prefer to cook and stay in. We love our time at this house each year!

Just Shellaxin was a lovely home with quick access to the beach and beautiful views. Unfortunately we were there during a tropical storm and were grateful for the pool and hot tub as the beach was basically flooded. My only suggestions would be to have containers for storage of left over food and more board games and puzzles geared toward kids. The one 1,000 piece puzzle that was there we finished in 24 hours. Of course that could have been due to the ugly weather. Also, one bath towel per person for a full week is not adequate, two would have been appreciated. All that being said, we would rent the house again as it was very comfortable for an extended family.
