For larger groups or multi-family vacations, the neighboring property, Lets Do Sunset #196, is also available through Landmark Vacation Rentals.

This stylish and fun 2,100 sq. ft. duplex is located on Banks Channel in the private gated community of Queens Grant in Topsail Beach. Unlike other homes that only offer beach access, How Sweet the Sound is an activity haven. Take a short stroll to the private, uncrowded beach just 600 feet away. Bring your boat, jet skis, kayaks, or paddleboards and spend the day on the water, easily launched from the private boat docks with immediate access to deep water, the Intracoastal Waterway, and the ocean. Your boat can stay safely docked just yards from the house for the duration of your stay.

Prefer to relax? Soak up the sun by the huge pool or unwind in the hot tub. Fish, crab, or shrimp right from the property, and clean your catch at the neighborhood fish-cleaning sink. Enjoy a picnic at the community shelter or shoot hoops on the neighborhood basketball court. With decks that bring you closer to the water than any other on the island, you won’t find a better place to watch the sunset.

Evenings at How Sweet the Sound are magical—watch dolphins leap, boats glide by, and the sun sink over the horizon. Surrounded almost entirely by water, the home is quiet and private. The only sounds you’ll hear are fish jumping, Ospreys calling, or the occasional passing boat. End your day with a movie on the Smart HD TV.

About the Home: This reverse-floor plan custom house was professionally decorated and is among the most breathtaking on the island. The ground level features a two-car carport with additional private parking, a large storage closet for bikes, beach gear, or fishing equipment, an outside hot-and-cold shower, and a wet-weather entry that leads inside to the foyer and elevator. No need to lug suitcases or groceries up multiple flights of stairs—simply use the elevator, perfect for guests of all ages.

The second floor includes three bedrooms and two full bathrooms:
-Master Bedroom: King-size bed, walk-in closet, TV, walk-out deck with hammock chair, and stunning water views.
-Second Bedroom: Queen-size bed, deck access, walk-in closet, and TV.
-Third Bedroom: Bunk bed (twin over full) with an extra full mattress stored underneath, plus a TV.

The top floor features vaulted ceilings, a contemporary kitchen with a large three-seat bar, separate wine and beer fridge, dining table for six, a cozy living area with couches (including a Queen sleeper), armchairs, reading nook, games, and Smart TV—all with breathtaking water views. A two-seat bistro table completes this space, perfect for morning coffee while soaking in the scenery.

There is a keyless entry lock on the main entrance door. Guest groups are assigned a personal entrance code for the duration of their stay. Professional cleaning service is provided at the end of your stay. A linen package is included with your stay. Beds will be made upon your arrival. Please note all top bunks and trundles will not be made.
