Indulge in luxury living at it's finest in this newly built, contemporary vacation home situated on the beautiful and serene North Topsail Beach with a Private Pool (which can be heated for additional cost!) and putting green! Cabin by the Sea #138, a Landmark Vacation Rentals home, makes for the perfect sanctuary to unwind with friends and loved ones. Be one of the first to enjoy the stellar front row views this home has to offer. With both the ocean at your front door, and miles of staggering marsh views and unspoiled coastline, this home is sure to please all. With 8 bedrooms and 7.5 baths and an open floor concept, this home has more than enough space to accommodate 24 people. The wide open living spaces and expansive decks make for the ideal place to entertain a family reunion, retreat, or girls or guys getaway.

When you enter the home, you are greeted with natural light, phenomenal ocean views outside of each window, and a warm feel. Six of eight bedrooms are located on the second floor. There are two ocean front bedrooms with queen-sized beds, ensuite bathrooms and TVs. A third queen bedroom is located on the sound side on this second floor as well. There are two bunk rooms, one with a full over full-sized bunk with a twin trundle sleeping five, the other with a triple full over full bunk sleeping 6 with sound views. The sixth bedroom has a twin-sized bed along with a twin day bed and twin trundle. A full size washer and dryer and sound side deck access are also located on this floor.

The top floor consists of the main living/kitchen/dining area and the remaining two bedrooms. The family room has vaulted ceilings, a sectional sofa, a large flat-screen TV, and access to the deck. The dining area features two tables that seat 20 total, perfect for family meals while on vacation. The fully equipped kitchen has a clean, polished and sleek appearance with everything you will need for your meals, including a counter with six bar stools. The oceanfront master bedroom is on the top floor and has a king-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom with oceanfront deck access. A bedroom with a queen-sized bed and ensuite bathroom are also found on this floor with incredible sound views.

On the ground floor, you will find an extra refrigerator for additional food and beverage storage. After a day in the sun and sand, guests have access to an outside shower which is located in the carport. The private elevator is a welcome amenity to those with mobility issues and for taking luggage and groceries to the upper floors. High speed internet and nine Smart TVs are available throughout the home.

There is a keyless entry lock on the entrance door. Guests are assigned a personal entrance code for the duration of their stay. Guests will be emailed their door code prior to their check-in.

The private pool can be heated for an additional fee in April, May, September, and October. The heated pool option is unavailable from June - August and November - March. Please note, that the pool heater will only heat 10 degrees warmer than the outside temperature (forecasted low). Please call our office to add the heated pool fee to your reservation.

Provided With Your Stay: Bath Towels, Hand Towels and Washcloths, Bath Mats, and Kitchen Linens are provided. Beds will be made upon your arrival. Please note, top bunks and trundles will not be made. A First Night Amenity Kit which includes: Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, Trash Bags and More will be waiting for you! Professional cleaning service is provided after every guest stay.

We had a wonderful week. Our 12 adults and 8 kids under 7 years old enjoyed the two big dining tables and large family area. The kitchen was well stocked and everything worked. For our crowd I would have appreciated another 6 qt pot and another 9 by 13 pan. I liked the kurig/pot coffee maker, the crock pot and two refrigerators The kids liked the pool and the many toys that were provided. I appreciated that the pool was well fenced and the gate latch too high for little hands to reach. Management was reasonably quick to remedy some slow drains. The only complaint was the outside shower only provided cold water to wash the sand offf after beach time. We loved the views of the ocean and the sound. We would certainly go back again.

Our weeklong vacation to North Topsail Beach was fantastic. Six families-12 adults, 8 children under the age of 7! Our group consisted of two sets of grandparents who had vacationed together over the years in various locales with our children. Those children now grown with their families. Everyone had a fabulous time. The kids all got along and did great. Having a pool on-site was a lifesaver. Especially for the three toddlers and babies who take daily naps. Their parents could put them down and still be able to enjoy the sun and water within earshot of the monitors. Mornings were spent on the beach, afternoons in the pool. The beach is beautiful, clean and easy access. The house had all the amenities we needed. It was clean and inviting with plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms for each family. The view of the intercoastal from the back deck was great and we viewed several spectacular sunsets. Relatively quick drive back to town for groceries, ice cream, restaurants etc.

Our family recently stayed at this rental house in July 2025 (8 adults, 4 younger kids, and 2 infants). The house is modern with plenty of space. We appreciated the wide open top floor that accommodated everyone during meal times and socializing. The bedrooms were as described and provided adequate space with many having private bathrooms. The kitchen is laid out nicely with a large fridge and an additional fridge on the lower level. Everyone loved the private pool to spend time after the beach. One downside is the house does NOT come with a gas/ charcoal grill. This is unfortunate as many people love to grill at the beach. The owner should provide a grill and include this in the base rate. The house is across the street from the beach. The beach access is four houses down across the street. Unfortunately, it requires climbing steep stairs every day with all your beach gear in tow.

We are so glad you loved the house and enjoyed the space! Many of property owners choose not to provide a grill for the sheer fact that they are very difficult to maintain in the harsh beach environment and our team doesn't have the time to properly clean a grill after each guest departure. There are many local vendors who offer grills for rent at very reasonable prices and they are guaranteed to be cleaned and full of propane so as to avoid disappointments. We hope you'll choose to stay at Cabin by the Sea again soon!

Our family found the property great in many regards. The location was very good, the views were fantastic, the kitchen was well stocked, and the beds were comfortable. There were a couple of small issues which the property manager resolved quickly. We would definitely return to this beautiful home.

Cabin by the Sea #138 was a great location for our Ladies Retreat! The kitchen and meeting area was perfect for what we needed. We had an amazing weekend, and we are very likely to return to this rental property again depending strictly on the size of our group.

The location was perfect from view, short walk to beach, short drive to park for kids etc.
The cabin was clean, prepared as pictures presented and overall great.
The outside shower area should have clothes lines (there were none) to hang the days wet beach clothing and towels.
Kitchen needs additional serving utensils. The provided ones were cheap and inadequate. Need hooks in all bathrooms to hang clothes/towels etc. We had a problem with the elevator that required time, attention etc. that we should not have had to use but we got it working.
