Welcome to Aquarium #159, a spacious soundfront retreat on the peaceful South Lumina side of Wrightsville Beach — truly a boater’s paradise. This rare gem offers spectacular sound and ocean views from four expansive decks, a private deep-water boat slip and dock with gazebo on Banks Channel, and a quiet, secluded beach at low tide. Beach access is only a 5-minute walk away, making it easy to enjoy both the sound and the sea.

Perfectly positioned for relaxation and recreation, guests can walk to Crystal Pier, Oceanic Restaurant, Sundays Café, and nearby surf shops (just 0.5 miles away). Entertainment options abound with a ping pong table, foosball, air hockey, video games, board games, and plenty of beach and water toys for endless fun.

1st Floor – Ground Level Game Room:
The ground floor is a game lover’s dream, featuring a ping pong table, foosball table, air hockey, Wii and Xbox consoles, a TV with comfortable seating, and a half bathroom.

2nd Floor – Main Living Area:
Designed to showcase the stunning water views, the open-concept living space features vaulted ceilings, large windows, and comfortable seating. The living room includes a large TV and a collection of games, while the chef’s kitchen is equipped with high-end appliances, white cabinetry, a large island with seating for eight, a wet bar with wine fridge, and a walk-in pantry. Two dining tables (one seating eight and the other seating six) make family meals a breeze. The expansive soundfront deck is perfect for sunset gatherings.

Bedroom 1 (Queen) – Street-facing with private deck access; shares the hall bathroom on this level.

3rd Floor – Bedroom Level:
This floor includes three guest bedrooms and a convenient laundry room.
Bedroom 2 (Queen) – Sound-facing with private deck access and an attached Jack-and-Jill bathroom.
Bedroom 3 (Two Twins) – Street-facing with deck access and shared Jack-and-Jill bathroom. (Note: This room does not have a closet.
Bedroom 4 (King) – Street-facing with deck access and a private ensuite bathroom.
Additional Sleeping: Queen pull-out sleeper sofa located on this floor.

4th Floor – Top Floor:
Bedroom 5 (Primary King Suite) – Sound-facing with private deck access, ensuite bathroom featuring double vanities and a walk-in shower.
Bedroom 6 (Two Twins + Extra-Long Twin Daybed) – Ocean-facing with deck access offering both sound and ocean views.

These two rooms are separated by a convenient wet bar with mini fridge and elevator access. Please note: Guests staying in the twin bedroom on this floor will access the bathroom through the master suite; double doors can be closed to create privacy.

A gas grill is provided by the owners for guest use. Landmark Vacation Rentals is not responsible for maintaining or inspecting grills for functionality, cleanliness or safety.

There is a keyless entry lock on this door only. Guests are assigned a personal entrance code for the duration of their stay. There are no keys and no need to check in or out at the office. Guests will be emailed their door code prior to their check-in. Everything in this home was made to provide a safe, no-stress, contactless process where you can relax from the moment you arrive.

Provided With Your Stay: Beach Towels, Bath Towels, Hand Towels and Washcloths, Bath Mats, and Kitchen Linens. Beds will be made upon arrival. A First Night Amenity Kit which includes Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, Trash Bags and More will be waiting for you! Professional cleaning service is provided after every guest stay.

This home was absolutely stunning and perfect for our group. What a welcoming and special home with amazing views, amenities, and in a perfect location. We had a small problem with the tv but staff with the rental company were very quick to respond and helpful! I would definitely book this house again.

We were in town for our daughter's wedding and rented Aquarium #159 for our family. The house was in a great location and well appointed. It fit our family's needs perfectly.

We brought our boat along and kept it at the dock located at the house. There wasn't any power at the dock to charge batteries. Had we had better weather and could have used our boat more, this would have been a problem.

All in all, we had a great time and would rent this home again.

We rented this lovely home for my nieces wedding. Five sets of aunts & uncles stayed for the weekend. Everyone was very happy with the accommodations. Great view. Very comfortable and spacious kitchen / living area for everyone to spend time together. The only downside is the bedroom with the twin beds shares a bathroom with the master bedroom. This room is really only suitable for children whose parents are in the master. We therefore did not utilize this bedroom at all, choosing instead to stay in our own home in Wilmington. Otherwise, a truly wonderful place to stay.

We drove down to celebrate and surprise our daughter’s for her 21st birthday with our best friends who are her “aunts and uncles”. Everyone had a room with a bathroom and the kitchen was truly amazing and spacious enough for everyone to sit around the island and truly enjoy themselves. We had family game night and saw some spectacular sunsets and one sunrise at the pier in town. It was amazing and when we asked her what was the best part, she said that we all could be under one roof and enjoy each day together in this beautiful home.

My rather large family gathers every Thanksgiving in Wrightsville Beach and this year, renting the Aquarium, made us Thanksgiving Central. My immediate family of 14 stayed very comfortably with the large bedrooms and plentiful bathrooms. We all enjoyed the multiple, scenic decks on each level. The place was spacious enough to sit all 30 of us for several lunches and dinners over the week. It was clean, well-supplied with cookware, dishes, glasses as well as a wine cooler.
For the size of the property we often commented that a second oven would be convenient and cooking on the stovetop range was tricky and might need replaced soon.
We did have several questions regarding some appliances and the elevator where, I think, an information binder would have been extremely helpful. Communication with the property management was poor to fair as they did not return any phone calls and sent an answer by text message 4 hrs after my initial request. A service repairman also showed up unannounced on the second day of my stay.

Regarding communication with Landmark, our team provides digital guidebooks sent via text message multiple times before your check-in along with multiple other text communication provided to guests throughout their stay. This way we can always ensure that guests have up-to-date house information and we can quickly help resolve any issues that may arise. Our office was closed for the holiday while you were visiting and our after hours team is only available for emergencies, however we did try to help you regarding the elevator via text message even though that situation is not considered an after-hours emergency. Our team was not alerted of any maintenance vendors coming to the house, otherwise you would have been made aware of that or we would have rescheduled until after your visit unless it was absolutely necessary. We hope to host you again at Aquarium so you can enjoy the gorgeous house and water views of Wrightsville Beach!

All the women of our family gathered at this house for a reunion. It accommodated 10 of us easily. The kitchen is huge. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom. Master suite had an additional room attached with two twin beds. The views off the deck and the deck on top of the house are breathtaking.

Stayed here for our son’s wedding on WB. There were 10 of us all together and everyone had a comfortable bed and plenty of privacy. The home is well maintained, beautifully decorated, in an excellent location and had everything we needed. Each room has a balcony and there are expansive panoramic views from a deck on top of the house. We loved to stay again.

Fabulous stay! Loved the location, and the house was great. The views are breathtaking, especially on the very top "widows walk" that is huge. Some areas definitely need some freshening up, but pretty much all of the bathrooms have been updated and are beautiful! Most important thing for renters to know is that the "private" dock is actually a shared dock with the house next door. It was fine, but pretty misleading especially since it is in the title. Also there was no grill, which was a huge disappointment since we like to cook our fish and/or meat outside.
